OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

At Brown Sugar Boutique, we have a 24 hour cancellation/rescheduling policy. We ask that you kindly give us 24 hours notice (or more if possible) if you need to cancel/reschedule an appointment. This allows us time to try to re-book another client in your appointment time. If you have prepaid for this session when you booked the appointment, and have given 24 hours or more notice to cancel/reschedule, then this session will reflect as a prepaid session credit available for your next appointment for the same service.

 If canceling/rescheduling within the 24 hour period prior to your booked appointment, (regardless of when your appointment was booked), your account/payment info on file will be charged for the full cost of the scheduled appointment. However, this charge will be waived if we are able to fill the appointment time with another client with minimal notice. (We’ll do all that we are able to make this happen for you!)

We do require up-to-date payment info at the time of booking. If you have an active (non-expired) pre-paid service on your account (e.g. a package of tans, or a prepaid single session), this serves as current payment info.  Online cancellations/reschedules are only allowed by our system up to 24 hours prior to your appointment. After that 24 hour mark, you must call the salon directly to give notice. 

We understand that emergencies arise, and occasionally it is necessary to cancel/reschedule appointments with minimal notice. We will do everything we are able to do to fill that appointment with another client. If we are able to do so, your cancellation charge will be waived. If we aren’t able to, your payment info or account will be charged for the appointment.

NO SHOW POLICY:

If no notice of cancellation is given, this is a NO SHOW for your appointment; you will be charged the full cost of the appointment booked. This will either be a charge to your payment info on file, or will be deducted from any available pre-paid sessions on your account. Please note that repeated “No Shows” on your account may disable your ability to book sessions through our website, and you’ll need to call the salon directly to book.

OUR PURCHASE POLICY

- ALL services, packages, products and gratuities purchased/charged are non-refundable.
- ALL packages expire one year from date of purchase, unless specifically notated with sale. (e.g. monthly unlimited, 6 months unlimited, certificate/promotional deals.) All packages/specials are limited duration options offered at a special pricing/rate to be used within the specified time. 
- Prepaid full-price single session charges are non refundable. If an appointment is cancelled/rescheduled with 24 hours or more notice, (per our cancellation policy) the prepaid amount will be available for your next appointment for the same service.
- We allow you to put your airbrush tanning package on hold once per package, for up to 6 months, with a required 30 day notice. This will put your account dormant (and unable to be used during that time) for up to 6 months, extending the expiration date.
- If you are moving and will no longer be able to use your (non-expired) package, we will allow a one-time gifting of your package to a friend or family member. This gifting, does NOT extend the expiration date.
- If a package you’ve purchased has expired with unused sessions, we allow you to reactivate that package within 1 year of the expiration date. This is done by purchasing another package; giving the new “active” package and the previous “inactive” package the same new expiration date (subject to current duration & pricing terms at the time of the new package purchase.) Reactivation is only available once per package.
